I did it with watercolour pencils, without water.
I surprised myself with the colors XDD
That is a scene of one continent from mais fanzine "cristal sides", it is litteraly "the fairy tale"

Watercolour pencils are like pencil colours, but they have a different texture and if you put water in it, you can do a "watherclour" effect
I don't know there where you live, but here in Brazil, that pencils are very popular^^

no no no, ^_^ Lisa Frank was a brand name of school supplies targeted towards girls in the mid 90s, everything they made had colorful fantasy scenes
